Consignors
Consignors are added to your system and associated with artwork they have consigned to your gallery. Each Consignor has settings related to:
- commission percentage
- maximum discount the consignor shares with the gallery
- consignment period
- pay day
All percentage settings can be over-ridden in those instances where you prefer to pay the consignor a flat fee upon the sale of artwork. Once a Consignor's Settings have been define, they will be included in the appropriate sections of the Consignment Agreement.
When artwork is sold, the amount due to the consignor is calculated based on the consignor's settings, taking into account any reimbursable amounts/production costs which might be due to either the gallery or the consignor.
When you're ready to pay the consignor, Artwork Manager provides you with a Consignor Receipt Form to document the payment.
Consignor Commission Reports give you ready access to a list of commissions. This report can be filtered by date, by individual consignor, as well as by Paid/Unpaid status.
