Ecommerce
Imagine starting your day reviewing sales that came in overnight. Nice, huh? Why not let your website make sales for you 24/7 and give people the ability to make purchases from you anytime, anywhere. Adding ecommerce to your Artwork Manager website is no problem.
Just like sales transactions that are processed in the gallery, Ecommerce transactions are related to your artwork inventory. So when online purchases are made, several records are simultaneously updated:
- the artwork inventory record
- the purchaser's contact record
- the artist's statistics
- the consignment area is updated to reflect any commission due
Select those items you wish to have available for purchase through Ecommerce - it doesn't have to be all or nothing.
Settings related to Ecommerce are defined and edited in your Artwork Manager and include:
- Tax Rate
- Shipping Rates
- Accepted payment options (Credit/Debit cards, PayPal, etc...)
- The gallery's online terms of sale policy
- Shipping policy
Ecommerce can be setup with Merchant Account providers including: PayPal, Authorize.net or YourPay.
